The Northwest Mathematics Conference (NWMC) is one of the finest regional education conferences in North America. Each fall, the conference is sponsored by the state or provincial math teachers' council of Oregon, Washington, or British Columbia.

The next NWMC is scheduled for October 9-11, 2025 in Tacoma, WA hosted by WSMC and PSCSTM.

Our program will feature Key Note Speakers, many Sessions with a variety of speakers and special events that Bring Math to the Surface by:

    • Developing conceptual understanding and fluency
    • Bringing relevance to mathematics 
    • Instruction routines and strategies
    • Leading and coaching for equity
    • Culturally responsive and sustaining mathematics
